Sonam Sethi is a 2nd year master’s student at the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations. She is a “Double Spartan”, as she graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 from the Lyman Briggs College with a degree in History, Philosophy, Sociology of Science. She began working at the Institute in 2014 after participating in the Community Medicine in the Yucatan, Mexico Study Abroad which sparked her interest in global health and community impact. Vraj Tripathi is currently a senior in Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University pursuing his bachelors degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. Tripathi joined The Institute for Global Health in April of 2016 and has been engaged in facilitating several international training programs along with study abroad programs for pre health professional, medical, and nursing students at Michigan State University. Tripathi has completed the Community Medicine program in Merida, Mexico along with The Medical Immersion Program at Korea University Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. Tripathi also successfully completed a certification course in International Medicine and Public Health through the Institute of International Medicine. His long term goal is to become a physician and serve others in underdeveloped countries in an effort to make a different in global health outcomes.
Stephen Brown is a Senior studying Supply Chain Management with minors in IT and Sustainability. Around michigan state you can find him heavily involved in the Undergraduate Student Government ASMSU. He endeavors to improve the campus environment and make MSU the best place it can be for students and faculty.
Jade Greear is a sophomore at Michigan State University studying Health and Society with a minor in Global Public Health and Epidemiology. Her love for travel and her passion for helping others is what led her to the exciting field of global health. Upon graduation, she hopes to enroll in a graduate program in epidemiology and eventually start a career in international health. At MSU, Jade is founding her own organization called Leaders of Today, serves on the board of the Spartan Association for Public Health, and is historian of the community service organization F.A.M.I.L.Y.
Xiaoyue (Xavie) He is a graduate student at Michigan State University studying Public and Corporation Accounting. Her love for both numbers and communication makes her enjoy financial and accounting work. She likes Michigan a lot because of the heavy snow and maple leaves.
