The Institute of International Health’s Global Health Development Projects are in response to President Simon’s mandate to enlarge Michigan State University’s international reach. IIH is diligent in meeting that challenge by cultivating exciting partnerships around the world and continuously working on international projects to aid the underserved regions of the world. This aid comes in several forms, through:
- Facilitating the shipment of medical supplies and equipment to all corners of the globe.
- Sponsoring medical teams who visit areas in crisis to offer medical care.
- Training and research programs working to capacity build in underserved regions of the world.
- Partnering with top international medical universities with student exchange programs and research partnerships.
